Highland Oak turned to us to develop a strong brand mark/logo and collateral for the launch, including a product brochure and website.
Traditionally, when visual imagery was required for these brochures, actual room sets were constructed in a photography studio. However, this time we proposed using virtual 3D room sets, designed and rendered on computer, resulting in a very realistic finish. Spotting the difference between these virtual 3D room sets and a physically constructed room can be a challenge. By developing highly detailed textures of each board, we were able to create ultra realistic 3D room sets. This enhanced the unique grains and colours that the Highland Oak brand has to offer. The results can be seen in the brochure images shown below.
The benefits for this approach are the ability to create a greater variation of room sets, the speed at which this can be turned around the reduced cost. Thereby saving the client money and delivering printed brochures quicker than previously possible.
